ASUS ROG GAMEXPO '16
HELSINKI EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION CENTRE
FRI NOVEMBER 4th - SUN NOVEMBER 6th
The qualifiers are over and the playoffs are now set for the ASUS ROG GameXpo 2016 CS:GO tournament which takes the stage next week on November 4-6 in Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre.
This year's last big CS:GO event in Finland is about to start next week as ASUS ROG GameXpo 2016 kicks off on November 4 in Helsinki. The event gathers eight elite Finnish CS:GO teams to battle over the $10,000 USD prize pot in front of the busy crowd of GameXpo. During the three days of competition the teams will fight through the unforgiving single elimination bracket where only one team will remain undefeaded in the end and be crowned the new ASUS ROG CS:GO champion.
Over the last two weeks we held two online qualifiers to give the rising talent a chance to enter the tournament and compete with the well-esteemed invited players. The top two of each qualifier was awarded a spot and the teams that managed to beat the odds were RCTIC eSports, Conquer Gaming, Huutista and GoSu.
Unfortunately, we also have some bad news as ENCE eSports has cancelled their participation to the event due to a scheduling conflict. Their spot will be filled by Paranoia eSports (Desperados), the 3rd place finisher in the 2nd online qualifier, who fought over the chance against the bronze medal team of the 1st qualifier, Enro Griffins.
We are now ready to release the playoffs bracket which will determine the matchups we're about to see over the upcoming weekend. All the matches will be played in a best-of-three format one by one so that we get to see each team in action.
All times above are local time EET (GMT+2).
Follow the action on twitch at twitch.tv/rogtournament or come join us to our tournament arena inside GameXpo in Helsinki Convention & Exhibition Centre!
