ASUS ROG Tournaments announces a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition with a $10 000 USD prize pool taking place in Helsinki, Finland on Oct 30 - Nov 1, 2015.
Next month ASUS ROG Tournaments brings Counter-Strike: Global Offensive back to Helsinki, Finland with a live tournament arena set up inside DigiExpo, the largest digital entertainment and consumer electronics event in Finland. Come and witness as eSports takes over the large exhibition halls or watch it all live on Twitch as eight competitive teams will fight for the trophy and $10,000 USD of prize money from October 30 to November 1, 2015. Together with the Finnish eSports Federation - SEUL ry, we are excited to present a brand new CS:GO event, ASUS ROG Tournament: Nordic Challenge.
All the matches will be streamed in English and Finnish. The English broadcast will be handled remotely by NiPgamingTV while the national stream is produced at the venue in front of a live audience. On the Finnish stream the commentary will be provided by Teemu “wabbit” Hiilinen and Juha “aNGeldusT” Kurppa, while on the international broadcast the talent lineup is Karam "KYAN1TE" Kabbara, Liam "logaN" Durrant and Jack "Jacky" Peters.

The prize pool of the tournament is $10,000 USD. It is distributed to the top four teams as follows:
The tournament will be played with direct single elimination playoffs. The matches are best-of-3 in quarter-finals and semi-finals while the final match is a best-of-5.
The tournament will feature a total of eight teams. Seven of the teams will enter the competition via a direct invite while the last spot is reserved for the winner of the Finnish online qualifier. If you are interested in the tournament, please send us an application for an invite. The invitations will be given out soon as the event approaches quickly. The online qualifier is open for Finnish teams only and will be held on October 11, 17:00 EEST. Sign-up and more info can be found at the tournament page.
