ASUS ROG Winter 2020 CS:GO announced

ASUS ROG announces a €12,500 CS:GO tournament taking place at Assembly Winter 2020 in Helsinki on February 20-22.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and ASUS ROG will continue their long running appearance at Assembly events this winter as we are happy to announce the ASUS ROG Winter 2020 CS:GO Tournament! In short, the event will feature eight teams battling it out over three days on February 20-22 for the prize pool of €12,500 EUR. If you haven’t booked your tickets to the event, do it now from tickets.assembly.org and come and experience the biggest esports event in Finland in winter 2020!

We are excited that the winter edition of Assembly has now grown into three days of esports instead of the previous two. More time means more teams, more matches and more chances for the best teams to reach the finals. We’re making the most of the extra time by expanding the GSL style group stage to feature bo3 format in all elimination matches. No more exits after mere two bo1 losses! The playoffs will remain intact with traditional single elimination system between four teams and best-of-3 matches all the way.

The tournament will be held on a dedicated ASUS ROG stage inside Assembly with plenty of seats for lively spectators. We hope you come and see the show for yourself and experience the unique atmosphere and excitement of esports events firsthand. The broadcast language on location is Finnish. You may also enjoy the show remotely via live streams in Finnish and other languages provided by partner streams. Expect a great show no matter where you are watching. Stay tuned for more details and team invitations!
