Hearthstone groups

The groups for this year’s premium Hearthstone summer tournament have been set. A total of 32 world class players are set in eight initial groups which start off the ASUS ROG Summer 2015 Hearthstone Tournament on July 30 in Helsinki, Finland.

The ASUS ROG Summer 2015 Hearthstone Tournament is only one week away and it has come time to reveal the initial groups. We are very excited to announce the absolutely stacked first group stage which will definitely set the pace for the rest of the three day long tournament. Our 32 world class players have been divided into eight groups of four which will be played in conquest double elimination format with Bo5 matches. Only half of the players will manage to advance into the next stage. Don’t miss any of the action and be ready on July 30 at 14:00 CEST to tune in to the first group stage!

Before we get to the groups, we have to announce that unfortunately Ryan “Purple” Murphy-Root has cancelled his participation. His spot will be filled by Frederik “Høj” Nielsen.

This first group stage on Thursday will see the top 2 of each group move onto the next group stage on Friday, from which the top 8 will advance to the playoffs for the final day.
